Global Vision International (GVI) is multi-award wining social enterprise that runs high impact volunteer and international education programs. For more than 15 years GVI has helped thousands of people make a real difference to the world they live in while also gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to live and work in a globally interdependent and culturally diverse world.
We began more than 15 years ago with a simple mission:
To work hand in hand with local communities, NGO’s and government organisations to facilitate real change on the ground while also giving our participants the opportunity to grow personally and professionally. It’s an undertaking we’ve been proud to pursue in over 25 countries, through 450 programs and by the support of over 25,000 participants.
We change lives; our alumni change the world.
Since 1998 we’ve dedicated ourselves to providing experiences that transform the lives of all they touch. From our inception on a little Caribbean island of the coast of Honduras we have grown into the worlds most respected volunteer travel and international education organisation. From Internships with leading international organisations, tailor-made group experiences, to Study Abroad programs, we allow participants of all ages and stages of life, the chance to live a more globally aware and fulfilling life.
GVI is guided by a unique commitment to its participants and to its partners. To the participant it offers safe, responsible travel experiences, exceptional training and career development opportunities.
To our project partners we offer the same high standards of service and support and complete transparency.
International program partners include 100’s of universities and schools around the world, leading social enterprises and corporations such as Whole Foods Market and 100’s of our wonderful project partners including Save the Children, South African National Parks Board, WWF, PADI, Project AWARE, Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, Jane Goodall Institute, Rainforest Concern and the Kenyan Wildlife Service.
We are frequently featured in the world’s media as an authority on international volunteering and global education. You can find us in the savannahs of Africa the coral reefs of the Caribbean of the Rainforests of Central America. If you cannot find us there you can come and meet us at one of our global offices or at one of our regular open days held in the UK, North America and Australia.
